Frank Lloyd Wright Portrait

This was first version made while doing a commissioned portrait for Triton College in Wheaton, IL while I was at the Naguib School of Sculpture in 1981. The college commissioned several students to do portraits of famous people. Wright’s signature was a red square, hence the redwood base. I made a different version that went to the college.Modeled life-size. Finished sculpture is slightly smaller.
